Geologist (Mineral Accounts Officer)

I am currently working in the Botswana GeoScience Institute as a Geologist undertaking the Mineral Accounts duties. I have my first degree in Geology from the University of Botswana and Masters in Mineral Economics from Akita University,Japan with the research tittle : Real Option Evaluation and Determination of the Optimum Investment timing of the Cu-Ni expansion project in Selibe Phikwe,Botswana. The research was presented at two business research conference in Imperial College,London and Italy in 2015. I am currently enrolled for PhD studies at the Botswana International University of Science and Technology undertaking research in the Economics of Botswana Mining sector. I started working at DeBeers Diamond Exploration Company in 2011 as a field exploration geologist and later joined BCL mine in 2012 until 2016. I worked as a field based geologist and later in my career path after my masters studies I was appreciated to undertake mineral economics duties constructing mine financial models,overseeing the consultants financial models ,undertaking optimization studies from exploration to mill and participated on feasibility studies of new projects.My future career en devours are in research, geology ,mineral economics and resource policy.
