Leon Daniels has a PhD in Geochemistry and has spent his life hunting diamonds. He has discovered, evaluated and brought into production kimberlite and alluvial mines.
Leon has a passion for Botswana and the Kgalagadi and the treasures hidden underneath. Together with Tshireletso Dira, they have recently embarked on an in depth study of the relationship between termite species and diamond exploration results. They believe a thorough understanding of the intricate relationship between termites and kimberlites will result in a new wave of discoveries in Botswana leading to the development of future diamond mines.
