Prisca Tembo born in Serowe and grew up in Palapye where she attained her early years of Education. Married to a wonderful husband, and has been blessed with 3 children. She is the Director and Founder of Namemco Energy. The first female to venture into the Quarrying Industry in Botswana and she currently owns two Quarries one in Palapye and Palla Road. She is the current Chairperson for the Women in Mining Association. Prisca Tembo is a Registered Nurse and a Family Nurse Practitioner, she has diploma in Midwifery. She attained her Diploma in Occupational Health in the UK (School of Hygiene), and further went to do her Degree in the United State of America (University of Arizona), she holds Master degree in Public Health (Health Sciences University SA), she worked for over 20 years in the Ministry of Health and 11 years for United State Center for Disease Control and Prevention (BOTUSA Project). Prisca started her first business (HealthPartners) to fulfil her passion in Occupational Health and Safety in the workplace. She was one of the First Nurses to be registered by the Ministry of Health to do a Mobile Health Clinic. Her passion in health is to bring Health and Wellness to the Workforce. Prisca has travelled extensively attending conferences and Short Courses different parts of the world. She is also passionate in working with the Senior Citizens in Palapye and putting a smile on their faces.
